Welcome admin to RollSM’s WP Facebook Group Updater! By using our service, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About the Service

The WP Facebook Group Updater plugin enables WordPress website administrators to automatically share blog posts to a specified Facebook group using Facebook’s Graph API. This service requires valid permissions from Facebook and a connection between the WordPress site and Facebook.

2. Data Handling

  1. User Data:
    • The plugin does not store or process any personal data of users on your WordPress site.
    • It uses a Facebook user access token to interact with the Facebook API. This token is managed by the WordPress administrator and is not shared with our service.
  2. Facebook Data:
    • Posts shared to Facebook groups are processed through Facebook’s Graph API in compliance with Facebook’s Terms of Service.

3. Responsibilities

  1. User Responsibilities:
    • You are responsible for ensuring that your Facebook group permissions comply with Facebook’s policies.
    • You are responsible for maintaining the security of the access token used by this plugin.
  2. Our Responsibilities:
    • We provide the plugin as-is, without any guarantees of functionality or uptime.
    • We do not store or share any user data.

4. Limitations of Liability

  • We are not responsible for any misuse of the plugin or any actions taken by Facebook, such as account suspensions or API changes that affect functionality.
  • The plugin is provided ”as-is” without warranties of any kind.

5. Termination of Use

You may stop using the plugin at any time by uninstalling it from your WordPress site. We reserve the right to discontinue support for this plugin at any time.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes will be handled in Swedish courts.

8. Non-profit

The RollSM name, domain, competition, and this website are non-profit initiatives. Your competition fee is used solely to cover the costs of maintaining the domain and web hosting services. Any remaining funds are allocated to the organizing club and/or the club hosting the event in the following year. Each club maintains transparent bookkeeping, which is available for review upon request.
